FAQ

Questions, answered

What Parker is, what it will not do without asking, and what you control.

The basics

What is Parker?

Parker is a governed intelligence layer around Salesforce. It reads the customer, sales and operational records you already own, retains what it learns about them, applies your organisation’s rules and turns proven questions into recurring routines. Salesforce stores the record; Parker understands the story.

Does Parker replace Salesforce?

No. Salesforce remains the system of record. Parker makes the information inside it easier to understand and use, especially when the answer is spread across many records, activities or pieces of unstructured text.

Where should we start?

Start with one recurring question or workflow that is slow, manual or easy to miss. Good examples include daily case triage, identifying neglected leads, comparing location performance or preparing a management brief.

Who it helps

How does Parker help customer service and digital teams?

Parker can identify urgent or neglected cases, find emerging complaint themes, separate location issues from digital failures and track whether a problem is growing or improving.

How does Parker help operations and field teams?

Parker compares locations, brands and regions, monitors service levels and prepares field teams with the evidence they need before a store or franchisee conversation.

How does Parker help sales and growth teams?

Parker can assess candidates, qualify and prioritise leads, identify missing information, re-engage cold demand, prepare sellers for calls and create controlled hand-offs into operations.

What changes for frontline teams?

Less time opening records, assembling context and rebuilding the same analysis. Parker presents the priority, relevant history and recommended next step while leaving judgement with the person responsible.

Control and trust

Can Parker send emails or update records?

Yes, where the organisation chooses to enable it. Parker can begin in read-only or draft-only mode, with write-back and automated actions introduced only after the permissions, rules and review process are agreed.

Can Parker take action without approval?

Not by default. Parker shows the proposed action and waits for confirmation. An organisation may choose to automate a specific, well-tested routine, but that is a deliberate decision with agreed rules, not a default behaviour.

Does Parker change our production Salesforce records?

Only where you enable it and only for the actions you approve. Parker can begin read-only or draft-only. When write-back is turned on, changes follow your rules, and Parker does not silently turn a recommendation into a production change.

How can we trust the answer?

Parker is designed to show its work. Important answers can be traced to the underlying records, approved knowledge and business rules, so people can inspect the evidence rather than accept an unsupported AI conclusion.

How are security and permissions handled?

Parker operates within the organisation’s approved access and security model. The exact design remains subject to the customer’s Salesforce licensing, data-governance and security requirements.

What does our Salesforce or IT team need to do?

The initial work is to agree on the relevant objects, fields, permissions and business rules. Parker can start with tightly controlled access, so the first use case can be proven before broader automation is considered.

How does Parker control compliance risk?

Approved language, prohibited claims and escalation conditions can be applied consistently. Sensitive or low-confidence situations can be held for human review, with the decision history preserved.

Intelligence, rules and routines

What is Parker’s intelligence layer?

It is what Parker builds up around your Salesforce records over time: how each record was classified, which signals mattered, what was missing, which rule applied, what was decided and who owned the next step. Salesforce holds the record. The layer holds what your organisation has learned about it.

What does Parker remember?

Within the access you approve, Parker can retain the classification of a record, the reasoning behind it, the business rule that applied, the decision taken, the owner of the next step, and any correction a person made. It does not retain anything outside the records and use cases you authorise.

Where is enriched intelligence stored?

Alongside the Salesforce records it describes, in a governed store your organisation controls. Every item is linked to its source record so it can be inspected, challenged or removed. Your production records are not overwritten to hold it.

How is Parker different from connecting a general AI assistant to Salesforce?

A general assistant reads the record in front of it and starts again with every prompt. Parker starts with what your organisation has already learned: retained classifications, your rules and terminology, and previous corrections. It also turns useful questions into routines and works within explicit permissions and approval steps.

Put simply, Parker does not start over every time you ask a question.

What is a Parker routine?

A routine is a proven question run on a schedule or trigger, with the same rules and controls each time. Examples include a prioritised case briefing before the service team starts work, a weekly comparison across locations, or a daily list of leads with missing qualification information.

Can our teams define their own rules?

Yes. Rules are written in plain business terms: what counts as urgent, qualified, compliant or ready to progress. Teams can propose them, and your organisation decides who may approve and change them.

How does Parker learn from a correction?

When someone corrects a classification, a priority or a draft, Parker records the correction against the record and the rule involved. Future work on similar records takes it into account. The correction is visible and can be reviewed, so learning is never an invisible change.

What happens to the intelligence Parker creates if a workflow changes?

It stays attached to the records it describes. When a rule or workflow changes, you can choose to keep the history, re-run the affected routines under the new rule, or retire the intelligence that no longer applies.

Value and expansion

How do we measure value?

Measure the workflow, not the novelty of the AI: time removed from manual analysis, faster identification, more leads worked, fewer neglected records, improved response times and adoption of recurring routines.

How does a Parker deployment expand?

One useful answer usually exposes the next person who needs it, governs it or owns the follow-up. Parker expands by improving those adjacent decisions, not by forcing an enterprise-wide rollout on day one.
